Ended up anchoring and being able to still have our nap time, Tenley came and told us we were at the whirl pools, Old Sow. Watching Jesse drive was funny because he kept being tossed all over the place by the change in the currents. Docked at St. Andrews, New Brunswick around 11, after lunch cleaned up the boat and then got to have dinner at the local yacht club. There were far too many desserts, they even gave us pinochi in our gift bags and left over gingerbread and pumpkin bread.

Bread maker
I’m still the only one making bread around here and I ended up doing it this morning on the 4 to 8, finally steering full and by again. Half or work party was spent furling and then more patch serving on the main. On watch we set the fore course to help steady us from rolling, waves were also splashing all over the foredeck and it started to rain.

Rolling
Justin told us it was wet and cold when we were woke up for watch, layered up a lot and it was dry and a lot warmer than I thought. We were rolling all over the place during watch and on our nap so it was hard to sleep, people were caulking above me as well so it was loud and junk was falling on me. For work party we patch served the fore and main, still rolling so it made it hard to hold on to anything. On night watch we ended up turning and steering southwest, we also saw some whale spouts.

Leaving Sydney
Got off the dock at 4 am and Little Frog cast our lines for us; it was super cold for the rest of watch. For work party in the afternoon Jojo, Laura and I took down the mizzen topmast staysail, Katie, Jesse and Mitch caulked more cabins, Chris and Ashleigh put boots on turnbuckes in the head rig. Furled royals at sunset and even got to enjoy a few stars.

Tours
Tours were wet and slow, only had about 280 people, it’s been a long time since we’ve had a slow day like that. Played more games tonight, cards and Clue.
