Waffles
Spatzel with cheese
Szechuan chicken
Blueberry cornmeal pancakes
Haniese Chicken Rice
Pulled pork tacos
Katie and Jesse took the afternoon off so they could mail some things home and pack some more, so I got to hang out with them a bit. Richard is also leaving on Monday with us, he said he’s just has had enough of it and is getting tired. I think it’s more of the yard period that is making people quite.
Fried eggs with garlic rice and tocino
Roti Prata with curry sauce and pulled tea
Pasta Carbonara with brussel sprouts, bread and pecan pie
It’s funny having Caleb and Rebecca back, I’ve seen them through out the season for a few days, but now they are here to work and take care of the boat over the winter. I’m glad to know that the boat will be in good hands.
Cinnamon buns
Butternut squash soup with hot sauce bread
Butter chicken, potatoes and peas
I asked cap about Aaron and I cooking next year and that I’d like an answer sooner rather than later because I’d do things differently over the winter. He said that Bob is out of money and that things are always unsure of until the last minute, just the usual way Bounty is run. He’s 99% sure that we’ll still be going to Europe, but there is still that 1% chance that a movie deal will come up or something better. Peter is doing the hiring and I guess he was told to wait until January and see how money issues and other opportunities go.
Eggs and tosino
French onion soup
Swedish meatballs with egg noodles
Things are being set back as usually, they are having trouble getting the shafts in and that might mean they don’t splash until Monday or later, they’d be lucky to do it on Thursday. The strainers and through hulls are all back in place and slats have been put on the mizzen top. And Tenley fixed the poop tube and painted the roman numerals. I went shopping and hardly filled my cart because there are only 10 people on now.
Blueberry and chocolate chip pancakes
Pizza
Fried chicken
I feel bad that I’m letting Robin down and leaving early, but I’ve been around for almost a year, I didn’t skip out half way through and I’ve been cooking as well.
Eggs and lots of bacon
Leftover stirfry
Brisket and latkes at Jojo’s request.
This afternoon Robin said the boat might be leaving Thursday, this Thursday, a few days before I even plan on leaving. It’s a little heart breaking knowing that I’ve decided not to be on the boat for the transit south, but I’ve put in plenty of time and Katie is leaving around that same time as well. I want to stay but I want to go, but most of all I know on that transit south I’d be miserable. I’d have been on over a year, it would be freezing, hardly any people so we’d most likely not sail.
All that is left is Chris, Richard, Mitch and Tenley, the last of the most experienced people are leaving.
