Heading for Bath, ME

A watch got Bounty off the dock, first time we did that. Peter is our mate again for a while, so we have a full watch finally. Everything went pretty smoothly, getting the dock lines off the dolphins was a little tricky, had to use the boat hook and move the boat closer to get them off.

Watch was good, slowly made our way up Long Island heading for Cape Cod Canal and Bath, Maine.

For work party Laura and I were sent back to the signal flags. We had just started to work when we were called to shake our some sails. We didn’t have that strong of wind and the wind started to shift around and they backed, luckily it continued to clock around and we didn’t have to furl right away. Robin came around and ended up taking some really nice pictures of Laura and I sewing.

Had a great sunset and the last hour and a half of watch and a bit into the 8 to 12 was spent furling. We only had 5 people for the majority of it, John, Grant, Amy, Scottie and I, our topsails look amazing for only having had 5 people.
