Peter and Dina left last night to take a week off, so that means that I’m the cook for this next transit. Had muffins and fruit for breakfast then Dan had me join them aloft on the main topsail so I could learn to reef it along with everyone else. Robin says he prefers to reef before the weather if he’s going to reef at all.
Corn chowder and hot sauce bread for lunch that was a big hit, also made oatmeal bread and lemon squares. For dinner I made black pepper beef, barley and cabbage salad. Work party caulked the tweens; we were heeling a lot so they kept sliding around along with my pots on the stove.
