Fore royal, Sullivan and Niagara

Finally had a good long work party aloft, Tenley and I spent our time on the main crosstrees. First we hooked the mizzen royal fore stay turnbuckle on to the main mast and took up the slack. I hand to hang in my harness when we took up on the topgallant stay. Watched the Dennis Sullivan sail in, but the Niagara was better, she’s about our size, her deck was amazing. After the stays we climbed all over the shrouds cutting off Irish pennants.

After dinner a group of us walked over toe the Sullivan and met up with Ryan and he gave us a tour of the boat. Later Katie and I went over to the Niagara where her friend Ben gave us a tour, she’s more historically accurate, with love overheads, separate births based on rank, hammocks and lots of strict rules. But she is very beautiful.
