Locks

Morning watch was very slow, not a whole lot happened. There were bugs everywhere and we smelled French toast and sausage so it made the wait unbearable.

The afternoon was amazing. We got an early wake up because it was all hands at 12 to get through the locks; once on deck we could see Montreal. The yards were braced sharp on a port tack, the courses caulk billed and the topsails were raised on their halyards. That was done to keep everything inside the boat while in the locks. We went through two locks, motored out a bit and then anchored, had a swim call to end the whole hot day.
