Self tending

Another beautiful day in Puerto Rico, in the morning Richard and I oiled the mast. Dan and Barron taught us how to tend ourselves, that way we could both oil at the same time and not have someone on deck doing nothing. Richard was on the main mast tackle, the shackle is attached to your harness and the slack line hitched around under the block and you can put in slack and ease yourself down. I was on the after side of the mast so I had to rig something different, attach a bosuns chair to a line, run it through a block, then we the slack slide of the line, make a bite and put the chair through it. After lunch a bunch of us were back over the side putting another coat of green on.

Tree growing around a fence.
Strange locked off garden.
