Today was really boring for the most part. It was raining and very grey so nobody felt like doing much. We watched a movie, that wasn’t all that good and then just slowly moved around the ship like slugs. Eventually Peter, Katie and Grant went out. I just hung around here slowly doing duty things and playing doing things online. Got paid, that’s good.
Rebecca and Caleb are leaving tomorrow so they are slowly moving all their things to their truck that they just bought. For the past few weeks they have been packing, cleaning and painting their cabin. It’ll be sad to see them go, they are great people and I’m sure that I’ll email Rebecca now and then and ask for advice on a few things.
And I got 4 pieces of mail! Wow! Two from mom, one from Ernie and another from Dale and Gail. Three Christmas cards and one with my ID and newspaper clippings that mom likes to send.
Rebecca also showed us the video from when Ross the Intern was here, pretty funny.
We also have a new crewmember, Brooke, she’s worked on yachts before and is from Canada, she’s 20.
And a new volunteer is here as well, Joe, he’ll be here till Saturday ish, does pirate parade things and saw the ship when he was younger in St. Pete.
